"The remains of Pastor Enock's four story church, school, home and school kitchen.  This was our first project when we moved to Haiti in 1983, and Feed A Child supported this work for more than 25 years.  Pastor Enock's youngest daughter, Enrose, his mother-in-law, two teachers, two nieces, and about 10 of the students were crushed to death in only 45 seconds in this horrible disaster!" -- Donna Bryce

"Below is the Caribbean Market, where most of us missionaries have bought our food for many years.  Since it was a very busy time of day, we have no idea how many were killed in this huge building!"

"Here at Bobby & Sherry's Love A Child compound, where Eldon and I live, we now have the largest disaster relief center in Haiti, with over 100 tents full of injured patients.  Many doctors, nurses and relief workers from around the world are here taking good care of everyone!"

"One of the many helicopters landing here at 'Love A Child' on a daily basis, bringing in the injured from other areas, or transporting those from here to another facility."

"Many Haitians gather every Sunday, right in the middle of the 'tent hospital' to take time to worship God.....many come in wheelchairs, on crutches or walkers, and even some who are unable to sit up are laid on mattresses on the ground, just to sing and hear the Word of God!"

"The Haitian People may be knocked down, but as long as there is a God they'll never stay down!!  The Haitians are a very, very strong People, indeed!!" -- Donna Bryce

"One of many hundreds of "tent cities" made mostly of pieces of sheets, or fabric and tied to sticks where thousands of people are now living!"

Over one million people were made homeless.... in a 45 second earthquake. Now comes the rebuilding process which takes time, effort and money for supplies.

Sometimes signs say it all.  They still need help.

From Donna and Eldon Bryce:    Thank you !

"Never before in history has there been a greater need in Haiti, and we believe that it is also a time of the Haitians coming to God!

The Government of Haiti decreed three days be an intense time of prayer, repentance and fasting in Haiti!  The masses of people gathered all over the country, the traffic came to a standstill, and worship, singing and praying could be heard throughout this country!

Eldon & I want to thank each and every one of you who are helping the Haitian people in any way.......by praying, giving of your finances, or material needs." -- Donna and Eldon Bryce (our partners in our World Mission Team through Feed A Child Ministry)

Haiti is praying for relief.
We who have ears to hear must have hands that act
as we remember that God's work is done through people just like us.

"from CNN News Source:

A powerful (7.0) earthquake rocked Haiti on January 12, 2010 damaging not only buildings and roads but the foundation of the Western Hemisphere's poorest nation, which has struggled under decades of coups, corruption and natural disasters."

WORLD  MISSION  TEAM

The Gospel Station is a network that exists to bring the good news of Jesus Christ around the world - in every area - by means of music, ministry and missions.  On our radio broadcasts, we frequently play songs that remind us to put our "faith into action" -- song like Jason Crabb's song "It's not how you walk on water, it's how you walk on Land" and Mitchell Jon's song "Do Something Visible".

When this disaster struck without warning and devastated so much upon a people who already were vulnerable and helpless, we knew that our listeners and partners around the world would want to have an avenue to show these traumatized people the good news that God loves them and is there to care for them.  We encourage you to pray for all the people affected by this disaster -- those in Haiti, and the many familes and friends who need comfort and help at this time.

The Gospel Station is poised to bring the visible love of God to the point of people's needs.  We are working in partnership with a relief organization called "Feed A Child", under the direction of Eldon and Donna  Bryce.  They've lived and worked...feeding and caring for the hungry for over 27 years.

"We are proud to partner with Feed A Child Ministries to provide IMMEDIATE and DIRECT relief to the people of Haiti." --- Randall Christy
